Key areas of accountability:
• Responsible for global project jig and fixture design.
• Identify key dimension in the drawing which is critical to quality and efficiency.
• Organize jig and fixture design review meeting before place order to supplier for fabrication.
• Support process engineer to verify the jig during trail run.
• Improve jig design for quality and efficiency after trail run.
• Update jig and fixture design rule according to lessons learn on each project.
• Design the jig and fixture with Poka yoke mindset.
• Transfer technical know-how and trouble shooting skills from Development to manufacturing on jigs.
• Assist mass production team to strengthen their jig design skills.
• Assist plants to set up their jig and fixture management system for engineering. department to ensure quality products are delivered to our customer.
• Jig and fixture innovation with low cost and high quality.
• Assist jig and fixture vender to produce jig on time and on quality.
• Use tolerance analysis technology for key process with complex jig.
Job scope:
Work with people across at all levels of the organization and external parties, support process and quality team on daily operations. Decisions are made with professional knowledge and have partly impacts to operations department. Tasks can be different and require prompt and accurate judgment.
Qualification:
• Academic / Professional Qualification: Min Engineering Degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Acoustical.
• Working Experience: more than 5 years’ experience in related industry, preferably in speaker industry.
• Expertise / Skills: Knowledge of problem-solving tool like SE, DOE and tolerance analysis.Able to use ProE and CAD to design jigs & fixture.
• Language skills: Ability to converse in English.
• Personal Attributes: Team player, clear and concise in communication, following up in details.
